Online Golf lessons
John Dunigan's online golf lessons are offered every month with a new drill of the month.
These online golf lessons are free and very valuable. Here are a few samples of our online golf lessons:
Online golf lessons - The Swing Plane Concept
Using the shaft angle at address (lie angle) as our guide, we cut a semicircle out of a
4'x 8' piece of plywood, giving a flat surface that we can slide the club shaft along
without changing its original angle. This board represents the plane that the club would
travel along when swung according to its lie angle (intended design). We know the board
as the plane board.
Online golf lessons - Right Arm Only
Here is a great drill to get the idea of swinging the club with your right hand and arm.
Hold the club with your right hand only and make a golf swing. Hold your right biceps
muscle with your left hand. Make sure you allow your right elbow to bend to a ninety
degree angle at the top of your backswing. On the downswing, make sure you push the
whole club back and down, don’t just pull the grip down. Feel your right arm straightening
back and down and the weight of the club in your right hand as you push against the club
shaft. Do this drill often to create a clear image of what you will do on the downswing.
